1 sheet all-purpose puff pastry flour for sprinkling 10 segments of trimmed asparagus ends (or more if desired) 5 ounces of cream cheese 1 egg Parmesan cheese, whisked 


Step - 1

Grate the oven to 350 degrees.  

Coat the puff pastry sheet with cream cheese in a liberal layering motion.  

Step - 2

Roll the pastry into 10-inch-wide segments.  

Step - 3

For a more substantial presentation, encircle one spear of asparagus or a bundle of asparagus around one strip.  

Step - 4

Coat with a beaten egg, then garnish with Parmesan.  

Step - 5

Bake for twelve to sixteen minutes.
