One cup of butter 1/2 cup compressed brown sugar One teaspoon of vanilla essence Three cups instant-cooking oats 1 cup of chocolate chunks, semisweet 1/2 cup peanut butter with cream Chips of chocolate drizzled over 


Step - 1

Prepare a greased 9-by-9-inch pan. Reserve.  

Step - 2

To melt butter, place it in a medium saucepan. Brown sugar and vanilla are stirred in. Oats should be cooked for a few minutes on moderate heat.  

Using a spatula, place half of this mixture into the greased pan.    

Step - 3

Melt chocolate morsels and peanut butter in a separate saucepan over low heat. Once homogeneous, pour the mixture over the bottom oat layer.  

Step - 4

With gentle pressure, crumble the remaining oat mixture over the chocolate layer. Drizzle melted chocolate chunks on top. 

Step - 5

Refrigerate while covered for several hours. Before slicing, bring bars to room temperature.
