Recipe for Mexican corn salad


Four ears of maize husked 1 tablespoon juice of citrus 1/2 teaspoon powdered Chile 1/2 cup crumbled cheese 1/2 cup crumbled fresh cilantro 2 Tbsp of mayonnaise are used. 1/4 pepper pinch, to flavor 1 sprinkle of parsley flakes and garlic salt parsley optionally added Limes optionally added


Place a grill grate that has been lightly oiled over medium-high heat.



Grill maize in its husks for approximately 15 minutes, turning it over the grill halfway through. The husks will sear while the corn cob within is cooked to perfection.


After retrieving the maize from the grill, remove the husks. Remove the kernels to a medium dish.


The maize should be combined with lime juice, chili powder, cilantro, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined, then add additional seasonings as necessary.


Warmly garnish with limes and fresh cilantro before serving.
